We Will Rock You is a youth musical production that combines theater and music.

This musical was created in 2002 in the United Kingdom by playwright Ben Elton, featuring the music of the rock band Queen. It includes a sequence of musical numbers with harmonic and rhythmic variety, showcasing different vocal and performance styles by the protagonists, who performed entirely live for the audience on the stage of the Teatri Astrit Sula at Hotel Art Arka – Kodra e Diellit 2, Tirana, on December 9, 10, and 11, 2024, with the original dialogues translated into Albanian and the original songs of QUEEN.

The theatrical storyline of this musical, translated into Albanian by Linda Kazani, tells the story of two rebellious young people who refuse to submit to the digital dictatorship of the Globalsoft Corporation.

The story takes place around 300 years in the future, in a world where Earth has been renamed “iPlanet” and is controlled by Globalsoft Corporation. The music of the show is based on the songs of the British band QUEEN, featuring the timeless hits of Freddie Mercury.

This youth musical perfectly reflects our modern times, in which young people are often inclined to sacrifice spiritual and intellectual creativity under the strong influence of digital technology.
